
Deborah Dunleavy's Healthy Eating Campaign won national recognition this week as it was awarded the North West Winner of Social Action Projects, and was a National Finalist.
The awards were held at Westminster Place in Westminster, and both Deborah, and Cllr David Greenhalgh (Bolton North East Conservatives Chairman) were presented with the award by David Cameron.
Speaking after the ceremony Deborah said 'I am delighted that the Healthy Eating Campaign has been recognised as a good example of Conservatism in action. I am absolutely committed to continuing with this campaign as all the young people of Bolton need to understand the importance of eating healthy, and that it is not too hard cook a healthy meal.'
The Healthy Eating Campigns moves to Canon Slade on Monday 18th Feb where more examples of tastey, healthy meals will be shown to pupils with help from the Olive Press.
