Deborah brought her Healthy Eating Campaign to Canon Slade earlier this week along with Chefs from the Olive Press. Around forty pupils were shown how to make a healthy meal from scratch.
Speaking after the session Deborah said "Everytime we bring healthy food to the young people of Bolton their enthusiasm amazes me. It is so good to see forty pupils passionate about food, and passionate about what they eat."
"I hope that they will now go home with the knowledge and some of the skills to prepare and make good healthy meals. Once again we have shown that healthy food does not have to be expensive, but by using local, fresh produce they can eat food that tastes fantastic and is also healthy."
