St John's RC Primary School National Story Telling Week

On Monday, I visited St John’s RC primary School in Bromley Cross, as part of highlighting National Story Telling Week. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, and would like to thank Reception class for being so wonderful.

I read to them one of my favourite children’s books Jolly Tall written by Jane Hissey. It’s part of the Old Bear collection, and my children loved them. My girls are now 9 and 11 and more into Harry Potter, but I still enjoy reading them.

The reception class are to all write a story about a further adventure of Jolly Tall, and we have made it into a competition with whoever tries the best winning a book. I’m looking forward to reading their stories.
