I read to them one of my favourite childrens books Jolly Tall written by Jane Hissey. Its part of the Old Bear collection, and my children loved them. My girls are now 9 and 11 and more into Harry Potter, but I still enjoy reading them.
The reception class are to all write a story about a further adventure of Jolly Tall, and we have made it into a competition with whoever tries the best winning a book. Im looking forward to reading their stories.
