In May a kind supporter of the party and neighbour of Lady Thatcher held a drinks party for the Club 24 group. The group sponsored by our host Mr Mark Florman held the fund raiser at his home to raise funds for the 24 women parliamentary candidates for all over country.
William Hague gave the financial appeal in his usual entertaining style and several other MPs showed their support
The event was open to all donors wishing to contribute to the election funds of the candidates. Club 24 is hoping to hold a similar event with Lady Thatcher later in the year, anyone wishing to support this event should contact Deborah Dunleavy on deborah4boltonne@aol.com
